Learn these labor massage positions:
1. Lie on side   2. Lean forward with pillows   3. Bed sitting   4. Slow dance

Partner pregnancy massage reminders:

  • Eye contact/Breathe together first, use hugging hands --from your heart's connection.  Allow energy to circulate from heart out to hands. 
  • Check in with your partner--massage between contractions vs sustained pressure during
  • Don't use deep pressure-- instead use firm pressure on sacrum with stacked hands ( lunging legs to save your back)
  • Postpartum:  C section--no abdominal massage until released by doctor & no deep tissue in legs for 6-8 weeks postpartum.

Swedish, prenatal, sports massage, deep pressure, polarity, reiki, myofascial release, lomi lomi, trigger point release and therapeutic touch are my main joys.  I also balance chakras and perform meridian massages.
